ResiLoop

Australia's product stewardship scheme for resilient vinyl flooring

Scroll to discover

What is ResiLoop?

ResiLoop, is a not-for-profit, industry-led scheme that connects resilient flooring suppliers with a national network of Collection Points, so installation offcuts are recovered and returned to recycling partners to create new products instead of going to landfill. Backed by major flooring suppliers and authorised by the ACCC until 2030.

Forbo Flooring Systems is proud to be one of the suppliers of resilient floor coverings and a founding member of ResiLoop.

The waste problem ResiLoop solves

  • 60,000

Tonnes of resilient flooring go to landfill in Australia each year.

  • 9,000

Tonnes of offcut material are clean, well-suited to recycling, and the focus of ResiLoop’s current collection.

What happens to collected material?

ResiLoop delivers collected vinyl sheet and plank offcuts to recycling partners, who reprocess it into new products such as garden edging and decking. ResiLoop is also investing in R&D to expand collection capacity and introduce new material types, including uplifted resilient flooring.
