Sorry, the Forbo Awards 2025 is now closed for entries. Our judges are currently reviewing this year's fabulous projects, and our Project of the Year and Most Sustainable Project category winners will be announced later in August.
Our Public Vote will then go live, so keep you eyes peeled to find out how you can cast your vote!
It was a closely run contest, but our Public Vote winner was Jasper Sanders + Partners for the Potterrow Student Living project.
Located opposite the esteemed University of Edinburgh Campus and a mere 10-minute stroll from Waverley Station, 16-18 Potterrow Student Living stands as a beacon of contemporary boutique student living in the heart of the Scottish capital.
A selection of products from across our integrated portfolio, including Coral barrier matting, sustainable Marmoleum and our Tessera caret tiles were used, and by prioritising sustainability, without compromising quality or style, Potterrow has set a new standard for environmentally conscious student living design.
Our Project of the Year Award went to Kerr Office Group for the Improve International project.
This design-led initiative, which utilised Forbo’s extensive range of products, integrates a diverse array of flooring types, including various carpets and vinyls, emphasising sustainable and hygienic solutions ideal for a veterinary setting.
By creating a facility that supports both learning and professional development, they significantly contributed to the growth of Improve International and setting a new benchmark for veterinary care globally.

Natural imagery and calming colours were a central part of the design brief, and to this end, architects, Ansell and Bailey, specified a range of Forbo Flooring Systems’ flooring, including its climate positive (carbon negative) Marmoleum floor covering.
