Tessera Chroma is a 50 x 50 cm textured loop pile carpet tile in 24 stunning colours, curated to suit modern workspaces. Its rich surface and palette pair seamlessly with other Tessera Design collections.

Tessera Chroma is part of the Evolve+ series offering carpet tiles that meet extensive, enhanced sustainability criteria.

• Made with 100% ECONYL® regenerated polyamide 6 solution dyed yarn
• 77% recycled content by weight
• Less than 2 kg CO2 e/m2 of embodied carbon (A1-A3)

    Installation & Cleaning

    Our recommended adhesive for Tessera and Flotex carpet tiles is carpet tackifier - Eurofix Tack Plus 542. Our Tessera carpet tile ranges can be installed adhesive free using the IOBAC MagTabs system.

    We always recommend our carpet tile products are installed by certified installers to ensure a professional finish and lasting floor performance. Full installation, cleaning and maintenance instructions can be downloaded below.

    Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs)
    All Tessera carpet tiles in standard Probac have individual EPD's which are third-party verified in accordance to ISO 14025 and EN 15804, giving a detailed and transparent overview of environmental impacts such as recycled content and embodied carbon levels of each Tessera range.

    GUT label
    Forbo Flooring carpet tiles have received the GUT label. This means all Tessera ranges have passed the latest and severe testing on chemicals and emissions to ensure users safety.

    Enhanced Sustainability

    Standard Tessera carpet tiles already contain over 60% recycled content and are produced using 100% renewable energy (electricity and biogas), resulting in lower embodied carbon levels.

    By evolving this standard carpet tile construction, we have further improved the sustainability of selected carpet tile ranges, increasing the recycled content and substantially lowering the embodied carbon (A1-A3); all verified by range specific Environmental Product Declarations (EPD’s) and without offsetting.

    Ranges which have this improved sustainability can be easily identified as being part of the evolve+ series, all achieving the following enhanced sustainability criteria:

    • less than 2 kg CO2 e/m2 of embodied carbon (A1-A3)
    • more than 75% recycled content
    • produced using 100% renewable energy
