616 Eurostar Lino Green is sustainable because part of the raw materials for the binder used are vegetable-based. Its composition meets the requirements of the so-called Mass Balance Concept, of which the biomass portion is allocated to the end product, 616 Eurostar Lino Green. In addition, the binder is CO₂-neutral thanks to the sustainable production process. Forbo Eurocol also uses natural fillers, water and additives in this adhesive.
The sustainability of 616 Eurostar Lino Green was achieved without compromising on its high quality and pleasant processing properties, which are prerequisites for every Eurocol product. The adhesion of 616 is as strong as that of ‘regular’ Eurocol linoleum adhesives and the adhesive is just as easy to process. This new, ground-breaking adhesive fits ideally into Forbo Eurocol’s sustainability policy. That’s because it’s aimed at using as much recycled material and/or renewable raw materials as possible in product development.
By choosing 616 Eurostar Lino Green, you’re actively contributing to the development of sustainable products. The adhesive holds the REDcert² certificate, which is awarded by an independent certification organisation. This organisation regularly checks whether the conditions of the Mass Balance Concept are complied with for each certified product – not only by the manufacturer Forbo Eurocol, but by all parties directly or indirectly involved in the production process. This is your guarantee that you’re actually working with a certified sustainable product. 616 Eurostar Lino Green is supplied in the well-known grey Eurocol bucket made of recycled plastic.
Four good reasons to choose 616 Eurostar Lino Green:
